My Story
I am taking on the A&E Shift Challenge to raise funds for The Royal Free Charity and support our emergency and urgent care teams.
No one wants to be in A&E but our local NHS teams provide exceptional care whenever someone needs them most. They do this even in the most difficult circumstances.
Our A&E staff members are constantly on the go with some covering an astounding 11 miles during their busiest shift. That's why I'm going the distance to support our emergency and urgent care teams this November.
I’ve challenged myself to walking 10,000 steps a day during November. Those that know me well, will know that this will be no easy feat for me, both due to my workload but also due to my energy levels, but I’m determined!
Importantly, I want to help my local A&E and I’d be so grateful if you would consider supporting me in doing that.
Your support will help fund impactful projects to improve the experience for staff and patients in our emergency department.
